It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in May, surrounded by friends and family, filled with delicious food, laughter and in an amazing venue. What an incredible way to start your ever after, Rida & Jeremy. I am honoured to have been apart of your special day.
I have said this every month, but how does the time go by so quickly. It is already JUNE! I was really busy in May with guest teaching and photo shoots, so any time I was able to be home with the girls I tried really hard to be present. This usually meant that my "big" camera remained on the shelf. But it is the balance of preserving and making memories that is always a challenge. I love that I have photographic evidence of the way Blakely always tries to make Annistyn happy when she know she is sad (this usually involves tickling or making a funny face), that Blakely puts on her own "cowboy" boots without caring that they are on the wrong feet, that Anni gets nervous during thunderstorms (just like her momma) but that Blakely reassured her that we are safe and that Anni was so excited that she made a rainbow even if it meant that she was getting wet. These are the moments that make our lives. They are simple and beautiful. It is evidence of who our girls are and who they will become.
This is super deep for a Sunday afternoon. I think I need more sleep or coffee.. |
