Oh man, where do I start with this couple. I remember when Alesha was born, had the privilege of being a part of her life, whether it was babysitting or visiting at family gatherings. And it has been so great getting to know Travis over the last few years.
Their special day was a reflection of the things that are important to them: family, friends and a fun time. And a little rain didn't stop them from smiling. Thank you guys for asking me to document your day.

When we went up to visit my parents this weekend, I messaged Amara to see what she was up to. She mentioned that her sister and her family were coming up and they were going to do some maternity photos, I may have invited myself along.
The evening was filled with laughter, animals, and a whole lot of mosquitoes. I have no doubt that Taya will be an awesome big sister and teach her brother or sister some of her epic dance moves and poses. Thank you ladies for letting me tag along. This year has been a mix of enjoying the outdoors & trying to keep busy when the weather was ridiculous.
I have a soft spot in my heart for lifestyle photography. Life is happening and I am there documenting it. It is the style that I use the most when documenting my family. I find it so truthful. When I look back at days or events that I have captured, I love that people's personalities are shining through. I don't often interfere with what is happening. Life is beautiful.
This is glimpse of the September long weekend, where we got to see a lot of my extended family. It was wonderful (and very green). Be sure to contact me if you would like to have your every day life documented. Gosh it was so nice to see these three when they came down to the mountains. Not only did we get to do a photo shoot in this amazing setting, we then got to go have dinner and visit. Though dinner with four kids is busy, it was so great to catch up.
